My favourite painting surface...
I use Aluminium panels as a strong, archival surface to paint on. What I like about them is that they aren't affected by temperature change, they don't warp, rot or tear. I'm able to mount canvas onto them using archival adhesive, which means I can also have the texture of canvas as well as all of the other benefits of this long-lasting product.
