What is hand-marbling?
Hand-marbling is a technique, known as Ebru, where paint is dripped on water mixed with carrageenan, a natural thickener made from red seaweed. The paints are swirled to form intricate patterns and then fabric is carefully laid on top to absorb the design, capturing beautifully marbled effects.
