Our Paint-A-Tote kits include everything you need to paint your own custom tote. Designed, created and handcrafted in Arrowtown, New Zealand.
Every Paint-A-Tote kit includes:
100% cotton tote bag with an original hand printed design
6x NZ made paint colours packaged in recyclable glass jars
2x wooden paint brushes
1x paper paint palette
1x up-cycled cleaning cloth
1x wooden stir stick
Each tote bag features an original design. The design is handprinted onto the tote bag and creates a smooth canvas to paint on which provides both guidance and inspiration for everyone of all ages & artistic levels. The handprinted design creates an outline to either paint inside or outside of the lines so everyone can create their own unique, personalized masterpiece.
Not only is it a fun activity where you can unleash your imagination and get creative, but you also end up with your very own custom tote that's sure to get plenty of use.

Return Policy
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us at paintatotenz@gmail.com. Please note that returns will need to be sent to the following address: 81 Centennial Ave. Arrowtown, New Zealand.
If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Can I customise my order?
Absolutely! We offer custom designs that suit any occasion - get in touch for your own custom design! If you would like any specific paint colours instead of the ones we have pre-selected please leave us a note and we will create a custom colour palette for you at no extra cost.
What makes Paint-A-Tote a sustainable paint kit?
Each kit is designed and handcrafted by me (Maya) in Arrowtown with the environment in mind. Each element included in your Paint-A-Tote kit has a purpose - including the canvas. Each kit includes paint in reusable glass jars, wooden paint tools, a paper paint palette and an up-cycled cleaning cloth which is used for packaging as well. Paint it. Love it. Use it.
Can you wash your tote once painted?
Of course! I recommend hand washing to lengthen the life span of your tote and to ensure the paint stays. Hang dry. To make the paint last longer mixing the paint with water to thin it out when painting will make it adhere much better.
