Lily May Ceramics | Sculptural Oyster Platter

The sculptural oyster platter has been handmade using a cream speckle clay and glazed with a clear glaze to emphasise the speckle. A touch of blue stain on some of the surface emulate the ocean to add an extra special touch. This piece has been slowly made over weeks and will last for decades to come. The intention of the sculptural platter is to be shared amongst friends and family filled to the brim with oysters or as a statement piece of art in ones home. Note: The sculptural platter has been handcrafted and placed in a kiln over two firings to a temperature of 1220degrees. Slight glazing changes have occurred in this piece which adds to the handcrafted nature of ceramics. Details: 48cm (L) by 24cm (W) by 5cm (H). Weight: 3kg
