All the table ware is dishwasher safe. Although like any pottery they will be safer if hand washed ;). You should also avoid thermal shock/rapid temperature changes with pottery. Your pieces are made in my home studio in Pirongia, either thrown on the wheel or handbuilt with various techniques such as pinching or slab building. I use stoneware and porcelain clays. After forming the pieces are dried very slowly, fired to 900 degrees (bisqued), then painted or glazed and fired again to 1220 degrees. This process takes some time and is why turnaround is usually a month long. I love to make commissions and am happy to customise any orders.
