This print is part of an ongoing series of 'Maunga TItirangi' ​/​ Kaiti Hill (Gisborne) works. Our dining room faces this view and I am continually distracted by it! The weather, time and day and time of year all contribute to beautiful skies, shadows, tones and colours. I will continue to paint this scene over and over again. This piece is particularly moody with the sun very low in the sky, creating a glow over the mountain.
