Rowan Giselle is a multimedia artist and educator based on Rakiura / Stewart Island. She has a close connection to the rhythms, transitions and presence of Nature, and is curious about how to draw attention to this in our busy everyday lives. By using mediums and processes traditional to feminine arts such as hand stitch, weaving, tailoring and craft techniques, she elevates this topic into Contemporary Fine Art discussion. Her work has been exhibited in Italy, Shanghai and widely throughout NZ in major galleries and private collections. She has a major exhibition planned in Queenstown for 2025.
