Established in 2020, Peg & Pickle is a small, family-owned business based in the heart of Hawkes Bay, New Zealand. Our journey began with delicious handcrafted dumplings, that we served from our food truck. Over time, our own chilli oil became a hit with our customers, and we started producing small batches to meet demand. Our Peg & Pickle Chilli Oil is a true labour of love, made in small batches to ensure each jar delivers the best flavour. We carefully infuse olive oil with a fragrant blend of spices and herbs, which is then poured over a crispy chilli mix, producing a satisfying sizzle that brings all the flavour to life! Versatile and vibrant, it's perfect for dumplings (of course), noodles, soups, rice dishes, and broths. But it doesn't stop there - try it on salads, eggs, avocado toast, or even drizzled over feta and watermelon for an unexpected flavour boost!
