At Totara Cottage Apothecary all my products are carefully crafted with aroha for you and your loved ones to enjoy. While I don’t offer returns for change of mind, I believe in quality and stand by every item. If something isn’t quite right and your product arrives damaged or faulty, I’ll happily replace it. Simply reach out to me within 14 days of receiving your order, and I’ll take care of the rest.

Who makes your product? All my products are made by hand and with aroha by me in my beautiful wee apothecary in the Totara Tunnel on Otaki Gorge Road, Ōtaki, Kāpiti Coast. What ingredients are your products made from? The ingredients are either ethically wildcrafted or sustainably grown organically by me in my medicinal herb garden or by others who are organically certified. Is your packaging sustainable? I try to use packaging that minimises environmental impact. All tea packaging and labels on jars are home compostable. Glass jars with aluminum lids are beautiful and reusable (watch this space for refills). For postage I use paper tape with natural glue, paper + card wrapping and soft-cushioned padded paper courier bags - all 100% plastic free - so please reuse, compost or recycle. Can I customise my order? Absolutely! If you would like a handwritten note to be included as part of a gift please add your message to the notes when you place your order.
